Yes, The G.Y.M. Wig is made with 100% Raw Virgin Human SouthEast Asian Hair. The hair is in its most natural state, so we highly suggest that you treat The G.Y.M. Wig as if it’s your own.

Use good quality shampoo and conditioning products. Conditioning your hair is very important to keep it soft and manageable. For curly textures, we recommend a leave-in conditioner at least 3 times a week detangling gently starting from the tips of the hair up to the roots. For Wavy and Straight textures, we suggest a conditioner wash once a week or as needed. We recommend using a deep conditioner on the G.Y.M Wig once a month.

We highly suggest you avoid using heavy oils or heavy styling products. When using heating tools, we suggest that you use a good quality heat protectant. Dry Shampoo is also recommended to keep wigs fresh between workouts.

The G.Y.M. Wigs are made with hair that’s of a natural dark brown color. If you choose to color or lighten the hair, do keep in mind once virgin hair is treated in any way, it is no longer considered “virgin” hair, and therefore we recommend that you get your G.Y.M Wig colored or processed by a licensed hair care professional. Also consult with a licensed professional on the care of color treated or lighten hair.

Yes, you can swim in salt or chlorine water. We highly suggest that you wash and detangle your hair immediately after your swim.... Adding a leave In conditioner spray is perfect in keeping The G.Y.M Wig’s hair soft and detangled.

You can sleep in your G.Y.M. Wig, however we highly suggest that you don’t. The G.Y.M works best as a day wig worn during high activity or while on the go.... Taking The G.Y.M Wig off at night will ensure it’s longevity.

Please keep in mind our medium/large cap sizes fit: 22”-23” inch head circumference and our small cap size fits head circumference size 20.5”- 21.5”. Please keep in mind that inside of The G.Y.M Wig there’s adjustable straps and combs to where you can loosen or tighten for your own comfort.

Normally, wavy or curly hair shrinks due making it’s curl appear shorter than the actual length. You can try to measure the hair by pulling it straight and measuring from the root (top) to the ends (tip). This method will ensure that you see it’s true length.

We highly recommend rinsing your headbands with water between workouts. As well as washing on the gentle cycle with delicate laundry detergent and air drying to not disturb the dri-fit fabric and velcro.
